NOTE: All Links to Download are located BELOW the Version Update Title!!!
Important. usually windows will now BLOCK all dll/exes within zip files you download via web. After downloading a zip from here right-click on the zip file BEFORE unzipping and select UNBLOCK. This will unblock all files within zip. You can also use the free 7zip program to unzip as that will not enfore the windows BLOCK as well (it seems).
Usually just unzip into PinUPSystem root: see instructions.
if you are on v1.3 follow the v1.4 upgrade link at bottom of this page before applying v1.4.x
This reminder is here because many people seem to miss this VERY important step that is needed BEFORE you install any Pinup related files!!!
If you use any kind of Anti-Virus or Malware software… it is HIGHLY recommend that you DISABLE it while installing or updating ALL software! Some parts may get flagged and removed even though it is safe and clean.
It is also very important to add "exceptions" to the folders where you install all of this software… including any Pinup related software. You have been warned!
LET'S BE CLEAR. THE #1 most common issue in setting up PinUP is your ANTI-VIRUS. If you use the Windows GUI and turn off defender (windows will AUTOMATICALLY turn it back on after a while). The only method is to ADD exceptions for PinUP folder and your virtual pinball folders (or remove permanently/entirely anti-virus through group-policies or other methods).
Highly recommended to use the free 7zip to deal with ALL *.zip files! This is because Windows will "block" many files that come from other locations. This results in some programs NOT working correctly and will give you endless headaches. 7zip will automatically "unblock" all files that you extract from a *.zip file. Download from:
NEVER assume the files aren't blocked! ALWAYS right-click the file and check Properties to be sure, and "unblock" the file if Windows has blocked it!
once you are on v1.4.1 or newer you can just overwrite these files into pinupsystem: (same files for both Player and Popper). Note this zip has a subfolder "PinUPPlayerVpinMame", the 'pupdmdcontrol.exe' file in there needs to be copied into root of vpinmame.
Make sure you windows-UNBLOCK file before unzipping the file.
