Feb 21, 2026
An all new PinUP Player Display driver ready to be rolled out and beta tested in community! So many low-level changes that it deserved the v2.0 build number jump!
Here's some of the updates:
As usual, this is a beta release and need community testing with all the different hardware and setups/gpus. The update doesn't stop you from easily rolling back the exes to v1.5.2 to get back to older-stable 32bit version.
Note: This is the PinUP Player Display Driver, it is used in Popper and v2.0 PuP-Packs and v2.0 PuP-DMDS. it will have no affect on older v1.4 and v1.5 puppacks/pupdmds as those still use the older v1.4/v1.5 exes when used.
Huge shout-out and thanks for all the beta-testers who helped with all the v2.0 testing, Happy Gaming!
Download here: Remember to unblock before unzipping! To update simply unzip ALL FILES into the root of PinUPSystem folder and overwrite files when asked.
* NOTE: you can now use PinUPDATER to grab version 2.0 beta files. In PinUPDATER there is a drop-down list where you can select the package to download. Easy Peasy!

March 26, 2026 PinUP Baller Installer Beta 2.0 Build #22
Some BIG changes to help with AMD/Intel and others with OpenGL video display glitches.
Support for DirectX GPU Acceleration Video Driver!! Starting in Build22 the default
in Popper will be CPU (non-accelerated) for easier initial setup. Then if all is well
after install you can then in Popper Config/Global Settings/first tab set your Video
Acceleration Driver. Choose DirectX (recommended) to start and if you have any issues,
try out OpenGL afterwards. In Popper Config, you can now set the transition/fade speed between videos in Popper,
you can even disable if you choose. In Popper Config/Global Settings/Wheelbar.
Higher the number the faster the effect, 30-80 is decent range to test, 0=disable.Note: There's a new 'live' log/event viewer utility in PinUP. To help troubleshoot,
run PuPEventViewer.exe BEFORE manually running Popper to get help with any issues.
Note you don't want to run PuPEventViewer.exe always as it is a debug mode and will
be slower than normal mode.
How-To: backup PinUPPlayer.exe and PinUPDisplayX.exe and PinUPMenu.exe and overwrite contents (unblock zip) into PinUPSystem folder.
If you have issues you can simply copy older versions of the exe (the update will not touch other files, so easy to downgrade with older exes).
