Installing my Mouse Plunger Detector

only tested on windows 10.....

1> run/install vJoySetup.exe (its a virtual joystick driver for windows) from this zip file. more info: http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/ (I wouldn't update to latest version as their interface may change in future, and it may not be backward compatible).

2> copy three files (MousePlunger.exe, MousePlunger.ini and the vJoyInterface.dll) into any folder you wish.... keep them together.

3> You need to configure Visual Pinbal X to use Plunger only once....(under keys preferences you'll see setting for "plunger", set it to rY Axis (note its rY not just Y))

That's it.... you need to run MousePlunger.exe before you run your tables. For Cabs you should run on startup.

To get into startup:

use file explorer and find your mouseplunger.exe and select right-click "copy" on highlighted file.

To get to startup folder in windows 10: in taskbar search "run" (run app). Windows will ask what to open: type: "shell:startup". You now want to right click within this folder and select "paste shortcut"... (make sure you use a shortcut and not the actual file).

Settings:
You can open mouseplunger.ini and set/read the settings to fine tune for your mouse/system. The most important depending on mouse sensitivity is the YAXISDeadZone (or minimum), the speedfactor (try between 10-30), and of course the MouseFireDelta (the amount of delta to detect a 'plunge'). Play around with each to see what works best.

Note: By default the mouse pointer will be BLANK when running.... if you need to show the mouse pointer you need to PRESS the WHEEL on your mouse to toggle. (You can change the HideMouse option in the ini if you don't want to hide mouse pointer during running).

Pinball fx 2: Working!!! It is a bit trickier as setup of 3rd party emulator wasn't that easy....once you have above working with VPX, then you can configure support for Pinball Fx2

Pinball fx2 only works with a 360 controller so I had to use a 3rd party emulator here: http://www.x360ce.com/
copy the x360exe into the steam/steamapps/common/pinballfx folder (where pinballfx2.exe is located) and run.
Configure x360ce so that the right stick Y-Asix is IAxis 5 (vjoy).
